Shayne Robertson
Director
As Director of Alterra Solutions, Shayne Robertson brings 16 years of practical and managerial construction experience to the table. Starting on the tools, he learned the building process from the ground up before completing formal studies in Cost Engineering and Project Management.
While his focus today is strictly on acoustics and functional walls, Shayne’s extensive background covers everything from estimating and managing complex interior finishes to running his own business supplying playground soft fall. Now 34, he uses this mix of site-level understanding and high-level project oversight to ensure Alterra Solutions delivers exceptional precision and quality.
Outside of work, Shayne enjoys scuba diving, sailing, and cooking. He remains deeply committed to his community, drawing on his background working in residential care and mentoring youth through the Department for Child Protection (DCP).
He still regularly takes time out to support long-standing clients from his days in disability and youth work. Above all, his greatest fulfilment comes from spending time with his wife, young son, and their dog.
