Alterra Solutions was founded nearly 2 years ago to bridge the gap between ambitious interior designs and flawless execution. Led by Director Shayne Robertson, we specialise in the precision installation of premium acoustic panels and functional walls for commercial, government, and specialised residential projects.

Shayne’s background sets our standard. Starting on the tools, he learned the realities of site work from the ground up. He later backed this practical experience with formal studies in Cost Engineering and Project Management. Over the last 16 years, Shayne has estimated and managed complex projects across a variety of trades, ultimately focusing his expertise on specialised acoustics and functional interior finishes.

This mix of site-level understanding and high-level financial oversight means we don’t just install products; we manage the process. We understand the critical interplay between on-site conditions, tight budgets, and strict project timelines.

Our community commitment to ethics extends beyond the construction site. Shayne is deeply passionate about supporting vulnerable youth, drawing from his personal experience working in residential care and as a mentor with children in the Department for Child Protection (DCP) and still supporting a couple of long standing clients to this day.
